F\u00fcr mich geht es um Verbindung, darum, in einem Motiv etwas zu finden, das in mir etwas ausl\u00f6st. Es kann ein Gef\u00fchl des Staunens sein, Bewunderung f\u00fcr Sch\u00f6nheit, Neugier oder sogar der Drang, eine tiefere Geschichte aufzudecken.<\/p><p data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"1200\">W\u00e4hrend einer k\u00fcrzlichen Reise nach Lanzarote stie\u00df ich auf die skelettartigen \u00dcberreste eines riesigen Geb\u00e4udes mitten im Nirgendwo. Vielleicht sollte es ein weiteres Resort werden, aber es blieb unvollendet, der Zeit und der Natur \u00fcberlassen. Schriftz\u00fcge bedeckten die Betonw\u00e4nde und verwandelten den Verfall in Kunst. Ein Werk fiel mir besonders auf, und ich fragte mich: Wie w\u00fcrde der K\u00fcnstler wollen, dass seine Arbeit gesehen wird? Nachdem ich ein paar Minuten \u00fcber die Winkel, das Licht und die Stimmung nachgedacht hatte, machte ich die Aufnahme. Ich stelle mir gerne vor, dass ich es so festgehalten habe, wie der K\u00fcnstler es vielleicht beabsichtigt h\u00e4tte.<\/p><p data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1577\">So gehe ich an die Fotografie heran, vollst\u00e4ndig vom Instinkt geleitet. Ich beobachte alles um mich herum und lasse zu, dass sich die Details und die Atmosph\u00e4re zeigen. Ich w\u00e4hle meine Blende, um zu entscheiden, wie viel Sch\u00e4rfentiefe oder Detail ich m\u00f6chte, stelle die Belichtung ein und halte dann den Moment fest. Es ist nichts Kompliziertes, aber f\u00fcr mich ist es alles.<\/p><p data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"2017\">Jedes Foto ist einzigartig, weil es den Moment markiert, in dem ich einen Ort wirklich sehe und f\u00fchle, in dem ich eindeutig Teil davon bin. Es ist dann, wenn ich beobachtet, die Umgebung aufgenommen und das eine Element gefunden habe, das mich fesselt. Manchmal fesselt mich nichts. Ich bin schon von Motiven weggegangen, die andere au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich oder ikonisch nennen w\u00fcrden, einfach weil sie bei mir keine Verbindung ausgel\u00f6st haben.<\/p><p data-start=\"2019\" data-end=\"2340\">Was ich mit meinen Fotos vermitteln m\u00f6chte, ist die Sch\u00f6nheit, die ich sehe, das Gef\u00fchl, an diesem Ort pr\u00e4sent zu sein, ein Teil davon zu sein. Ich m\u00f6chte, dass die Betrachter die Details, die Formen, die Farben wahrnehmen \u2013 vielleicht sogar denken oder f\u00fchlen, was ich dachte oder f\u00fchlte, als ich den Ausl\u00f6ser dr\u00fcckte.<\/p><p data-start=\"2342\" data-end=\"2594\">Fotografie bedeutet f\u00fcr mich nicht, andere zu beeindrucken oder Trends hinterherzujagen. Es geht darum, pr\u00e4sent zu sein, tief zu sehen und andere in diese gleiche Erfahrung einzuladen.
